We have been working with Nick Robinson who has programmed a strength program for our squad. Nick is a qualified fitness instructor and strength and conditioning coach.

About the program

The program is designed to be accessible to everyone and features alternative exercises for you to supplement to your confidence level.
The program calls for 2 sessions a week so that it can easily fit around your regular training schedule.
The program is set up in phases to help develop over the course of the cycle aiming to peak at WU24C.

  • Each exercise has an ideal, regression and progression for you to adapt to your confidence/experience level.
  • Practically, the weight you use should be challenging and hard work for the last 2 reps of each set but not a massive grind.
  • Think about having 1 or 2 reps left in the tank. Followed by a 2 minute rest between sets.
  • Ideally, at least 1 days rest between gym sessions if not 2.
